Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation and processing of accounting records, including entries required for monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts, including bank, customer, and supplier accounts.
- Liaise with external auditors to provide appropriate documentation and information as requested to complete external audits.
- Assisting in the execution and processing of monthly payment runs to suppliers.
- Prepare and process daily journal entries and ensure accounting records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Support in the preparation of VAT returns and tax-related submissions.
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and banking institutions.
- Contribute to other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Partly qualified ACCA (will be considered an advantage).
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Familiarity with accounting software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
- Fluent in Greek and English, written and spoken.
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and attention to detail.
