Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preparation and processing of accounting records, including entries required for monthly and quarterly management accounts.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts, including bank, customer, and supplier accounts.
  • Liaise with external auditors to provide appropriate documentation and information as requested to complete external audits.
  • Assisting in the execution and processing of monthly payment runs to suppliers.
  • Prepare and process daily journal entries and ensure accounting records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support in the preparation of VAT returns and tax-related submissions.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and banking institutions.
  • Contribute to other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Partly qualified ACCA (will be considered an advantage).
  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
  • Fluent in Greek and English, written and spoken.
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and attention to detail.
