Construction Procurement Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the procurement policies and procedures.
  • Preparation, review and evaluation of tenders and preparation of contracts for services, supplies and works.
  • Source and interview vendors and assist in cost negotiations.
  • Perform basic estimating and purchasing of services, products, materials and equipment.
  • Administer all tendering and procurement transactions. Track, record and receive orders and document deliveries.
  • Organise project procurement in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Coordination of suppliers and management of the supply base.
  • Report to management.

Requirements:

  • BSc Degree preferably in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) discipline or Quantity Surveying.
  • Degree, Certificate and/or experience in construction estimating is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of previous experience in procurement in construction industry. Experience and thorough knowledge in construction industry procedures such as contracting, estimating and purchasing.
  • Advanced estimating capabilities are preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially spreadsheets.
  • Fluency in English and Greek.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
