Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the procurement policies and procedures.
- Preparation, review and evaluation of tenders and preparation of contracts for services, supplies and works.
- Source and interview vendors and assist in cost negotiations.
- Perform basic estimating and purchasing of services, products, materials and equipment.
- Administer all tendering and procurement transactions. Track, record and receive orders and document deliveries.
- Organise project procurement in accordance with the project schedule.
- Coordination of suppliers and management of the supply base.
- Report to management.
Requirements:
- BSc Degree preferably in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) discipline or Quantity Surveying.
- Degree, Certificate and/or experience in construction estimating is preferred.
- 2-5 years of previous experience in procurement in construction industry. Experience and thorough knowledge in construction industry procedures such as contracting, estimating and purchasing.
- Advanced estimating capabilities are preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, especially spreadsheets.
- Fluency in English and Greek.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
