Job Description:
Pre-Construction Period
- Qualitative and Quantitative review of the Technical Design Documents and Bill of Quantities prior tendering and ensuring a complete design package prior tendering
- Monitor the contractual arrangements and the engagement of all contractual stakeholders during the tendering stage
- Coordinate the Designers during the tendering stage to deliver further required construction detailing
Construction Period
- Monitoring the Contract Manager to ensure the contractual processes run smoothly and report identified issues
- Participate in Site meeting as the Employer’s representative
- Perform daily site visits for Quality control
- Identify and report Employer’s important Milestones
- Liaise with the Procurement Dept. and clearly define procurement requirements
- Monitor the Contractor’s Programme of works and identify risks, delays and report accordingly
- Review and monitor the Contractor’s payment certificates, Employer’s project cash flow and project budget
- Identify and report Value Engineering opportunities and Variation instructions impacting time and cost
- Monitor permitting conditions
- Project record keeping and reporting: Progress, Cost, Project’s correspondence, Engineer’s Instructions, Site Diaries, MoM.
- Ensure the project meets Time, Budget and Quality scope
- Gather and organise project’s operation information and monitor commissioning and handover inspections and trainings.
Post-Construction Period
- Lead the delivery of the project to the Employer and end users
- Coordinate final account agreement
- Set up and manage ‘Lessons Learned’ workshops
This role reports to the Construction Manager and requires close internal coordination with all relevant departments throughout the Pre-Construction, Construction, and Post-Construction periods, ensuring alignment between contractual, technical, and delivery requirements.
Qualifications and Yeas of Experience:
- BSc in Civil Engineering
- 3-6 years of experience in similar role
- Member of Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber
- Knowledge of FIDIC Contract Conditions will be considered an advantage
Software Knowledge
- MS Office, Autocad, MS Project and/or Primavera
- Procore knowledge will be considered as an advantage
